It has been a while since I have posted an update. There has not been a lot of news to update with so I haven't really felt the point in posting one. However, I figured now was a good chance to let anyone who stops by know what is going on.
This month I saw my doctor and my nutritionist. At the doctor's office I lost another 18 pounds in 3 months. So that is just about 50 pounds since June. Since my highest weight I have lost about 58 pounds.
My A1c also got rechecked and unfortunately it went up to 6.8 (from being 6.7 three months ago) It's not a huge deal but I want to get under 6 %.
My nutritionist also would like me to be interviewed for the local paper. Since March is a month about nutrition, she wants to get some recognition out in the community and let people know that dieting can be done the right way. It may not be easy, or always fun but it is doable. Commitment and focus are very important, not just diet and exercise.
Anyway, that is the most important information for my little update.

Ever since I could walk, I have loved dancing. It was always a dream of mine to be a professional dancer. However, I never was able to take classes. I gave up trying out for my high schools dance team because of my anxiety.
Now, I really regret all of that. I still really love to dance, but unfortunately I am too late to do anything about it. I could take classes and become better, but by the time I was at a pro level, I would be too old.
If there is something you wish you could go back and change, what would that be?
